About PHCC of California The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association is the nation’s oldest trade association, founded in 1883 by plumbing craftsmen seeking to distinguish themselves as experts and share best practices to improve the industry and protect the health and safety of the public. The PHCC of California chapter was founded in 1900, and for the past 122 years has been instrumental in training the workforce, elevating the industry, and connecting plumbing-heating-cooling professionals. Our motto is ‘Best People.
